From the Sidelines

Happy to sit on the sidelines watching the world go by,
for I cannot be anyone else other than my self.

This race in which everyone is running...
Does not interest me...
For I never did like to follow...
It seems it's a pill that I must swallow
for I must give the appearance of compliance
Cause that's what slaves do.

No one said a word when the target of persecution were Ahmadis. No one cared because they agreed! They kept quiet or even cheered while mothers mourned their sons and sons buried their fathers. The terrorists went on and started cutting throats and still you kept quiet. The bitter truth is that you and I are to blame for the current situation in Pakistan.
