Uncomfortably Numb

The Prelude There are times when the eagle too is afraid of flying... when the fish fear the water and the sun is afraid of its own light.... This was one of those times in my life... I woke up to a dark room, heavy curtains stopping the light coming from the large windows. I realized that my head was aching like hell. Suddenly the telephone rang and I got out of the bed to answer it... Some Dark voice from a distance said : Hello ... Gregory ! I see that you’re awake ... now... Who is this? I said. Ohhh ... that is not relevant at this moment... what is more important is that do you know who u are... I... I .... and it dawned on me.... who Am I .... I didn't remember... See you soon Greg the voice said in a mysterious manner... and the phone hung up. Who was I ... I didn’t know... where was I? ... Now I started to look around. Every thing was unfamiliar. It was a small room the windows were larger then usual I pushed the curtain and looked out side and what I saw I'll neve

Its old yet its true. The world is getting warmer, the climate is changing. What will it bring for us is anybody's guess. I feel that it will bring on another ice-age. I bought a new mobile set some days ago well it was not new... but anyway its a Moto v180 had to spend some hours on figuiring out how to install stuff into it. In the process learnt a lot.

سوچوں کے جھرمٹ سے نکلے  اس احساس کو  میں کیا نام دوں  بجھتی نہیں جواب میری  اس پیاس کو  میں کیا نام دوں  تاریکیوں  دھندلکوں  میں لپٹا ہو ا  ہے دن  زندگی کی لمبی رات کو میں کیا نام دوں  خواہش کے ملبے تلے کچلا پڑا ہوں میں  پھر بھی اس بدذات کو  میں کیا نام دوں  جلنے کادکھ نہیں میرا جنوں ہے یہ مگر اس دل کی راکھ کو میں کیا نام دوں  پل کا تھا بھروسہ پل کی تھی محبت ٹوٹے بھرم کے خواب کو میں کیا نام دوں  پگھلا ہوں تو آنسوئو ں میں ڈھل گیا روح سے نکلے آب کو  میں کیا نام دوں  بھاتی نہیں مجھ کو مانگی ہوئی محبت تجھے پھر سے پانے کی آس کو میں کیا نام دوں 

تم اک سوال ہو جو میری چشم نم سے پھوٹا ہے  تم اک خیال ہو جو میری روح نے کبھی سوچا ہوگا تم میرے کیا ہو جو تمہارے بن زندگی ادھوری لگتی ہے  تم وہ باد صبا جو اس آنگن میں اتری،میرے لئے  تم وہ  برق رواں جو میرے دل کی دھڑکن کی وجہ تم وہ کہکشاں جسمیں تمام کائنات ہے  تمارے گیسوئوں کی خوشبو مجھے سہلاتی ہے  تمارے ہونٹوں کی نرمی مجھے پگھلاتی ہے  تم سراپا حـسن سراپا عشق سراپا جام  تماری خوشبو  میرا  اک  انعام  میں کیا لکھوں کہ تمہیں بتا سکوں  میری روح کا ذرہ ذرہ تو ہے بس تمہارے نام

عشق کی بیخدی سے کہاں جام اچھا ہے دنیا کے ناموں میں فقط تیرا نام اچھا ہے ہم تو مرتے بھی نہ تھے نہ جیتے تھے  پوچھا جو تم نے تو کہا حال اچھا ہے  چلتے ہوئے نہ سوچا کہ کانٹے ہونگے توجو  ہمسفر تھا  سوچا خیال اچھا ہے 

These are the days we all dreaded for years here hides the sorrow the season of tears all that comes and goes and whats left behind the cold truths the empty hearts and fears These are the times, empty lifeless hearts in pain when there is nothing left to hold whats there to gain the pain reseeds deepens sometimes withdraws feeling do tend to have a way very hard to explain the mystery that is love so kind so gentle a thing with all the things that we think it should bring the promises made to be broken ,regrets held its all that its not, just a mere candle flickering 21-02-2002
